Conference - Agriculture, Nature and Artificial Intelligence

As part of Ovibeja 2025, the Continente Producers' Club will organise the ‘Agriculture, Nature and Artificial Intelligence’ Conference on 30 April in Beja, during which the LIFE SOS Pygargus project will be presented. The Continente Producers' Club is one of the key partners in this project. The conference will take place in the Innovation and Technology Pavilion at 2.30 pm.

There will also be a presentation on the topic ‘Biodiversity in wheat and rye fields: the new agricultural capital’, given by biologist Joaquim Teodósio, coordinator of the LIFE SOS Pygargus project.

Key topics related to the promotion of national agriculture and modernisation of the sector, combined with nature conservation, particularly of the Montagu's harrier, an endangered species, will be addressed. These are two areas which, in synergy, generate many more benefits for society and the protection of biodiversity.
